At Pharmacy Medical we are known for our high quality controlled drugs cabinets and other medicine storage solutions. Taking this reputation, we are launching a new range of products aimed at the healthcare market.

Our latest product, which has been developed with leading NHS trusts is our laptop trolley / mobile workstation.

The finished product is available to view on our website by following this link (click here), however below is an explanation of the laptop trolley and how it came about.

Working closely with several NHS trusts on many different projects we are often asked to develop new products that find a solution to problems being encountered with the products that they are using at the moment.

With the adoption of electronic prescribing, hospitals are needing laptop trolleys to support the laptop itself and provide a mobile workspace for the nurses during their rounds.

Existing laptop trolleys were found to be either not adjustable enough to meet the nurses needs, bulky and heavy to push, or fearsomely expensive. Working from guidelines and feedback from nurses themselves, we set about designing our laptop trolley.

Our solution was the trolley you can see on the right. This trolley is fully height, tilt and swivel adjustable, whilst accepting a wide range of laptops notebooks and tough-books.

Whilst testing within hospitals, the laptop trolley has had several minor design modifications to include a larger workspace, however is now being used to good effect in several locations.
