The warning light fitted to Pharmacy Medicals controlled drugs cabinets is a self contained unit. Operating off a single 9 Volt battery the unit has been tested to over 120 hours of continued operation. When the door of the cabinet is open, the light will start flashing and when the door is closed, it will stop.

The battery is simple to replace and is housed in a small compartment in the top right of the cabinet. The size of the components for this warning light means that very little internal space is lost, whilst being housed inside the cabinet keeps the external dimensions the same and reduces the chance of damage to the unit itself.

How the current Coronavirus situation is impacting Pharmacy Medical

Here at Pharmacy Medical, we would like to inform you that business will be operating as normal and that we are closely monitoring the developments of COVID-19 and its impact on our customers and delivery partners. Although our customers can continue to purchase online, we would like to discourage from the collect in store option.

Stock levels of our core products, Controlled Drugs Cabinets, Medicine Cabinets and MDS Drugs Trolleys are high on most SKU’s and our couriers are operating a normal service at the time of writing.

We are also pleased to confirm that having spoken to all our suppliers, we have no known current supplier chain issues. As a result, we are confident of continuing production and supply as normal.

Our elevated stock levels are also allowing us to fast track any orders relating to COVID-19. Large stock orders and bespoke orders will be subject to shorter than usual lead times, with an estimate of 5-7 working days subject to volumes.

The CDC1035 Controlled drugs cabinet is manufactured by ourselves here at our purpose built factory in Nottinghamshire. This is a new addition to our range and its popularity with customers is currently being assessed.

The CDC1035 cabinet is a modification of or now mothballed CDC105. The 1035 has been developed from the 105 cabinet and is essentially now a 1030 with door shelves. As the sizes of the old CDC105 and the CDC1035 were so similar, it was a logical step to merge the two together. We have done this to allow us to continue to offer quick lead times on our core products as our catalogue continues to grow. We can modify the CDC1035 to the sizes of the old 105, however there will now be a cost involved in doing this.
