CDC1040 Controlled drugs cabinet is 850mm H x 500mm W x 450mm D it features three adjustable internal shelves, an approximate net weight of 39Kg. &  an approximate volume of 191 litres.

As with all our controlled drugs cabinets the CDC1040 Controlled drugs cabinet is manufactured to exceed British standard 2887:1989 and to the Misuse of drugs (safe custody) regulations 1975.-The Cabinet comes complete with wall fixing  (4 x 10mm x 75mm long hexagon head sleeve anchors). Cabinet should be fitted by a competent person.

The fixing of any Controlled drugs cabinet is an inherent part of the security of the cabinet. With this in mind we advise that the cabinet be fitted by a competent person. Should the fixing of the cabinet to a wall (or floor) be carried out incorrectly then the inherent strength and security of the Controlled drugs cabinet will be undermined.

As with all our cabinets the CDC1040 Controlled drugs cabinet is manufactured fro 2mm cold reduced steel using a filly welded construction. The door features a full length hinge with welded pin. The door has a folded return down the full length to prevent removal of the door should the hinge be compromised.

A 6 Pin Euro-profile cylinder lock secures the cabinet and comes complete with two keys.

Finally the cabinets is finished in a Polyester powder coated in Ral 9003 (White) Texture.

The CDC105 Controlled drugs cabinet incorporates three fully adjustable and removable shelves making it a very versatile cabinet. The CDC105 Controlled drugs cabinet  is popular  among Pharmacy s for the storage of Methadone bottles and larger amounts of Controlled drugs within their premises.  The CDC105 Controlled drugs cabinet is 860mmH x 450mmW x 335mmD and has one large door for easy access. The door has two 6 Pin Euro-profile cylinder locks which incorporate Anti-pick and anti-drill features. The locks are independently tested to BS: EN1303:2005 and are  Kitemarked -KM532920. Each have  TS007 1 Star Cylinders and are  Key security grade 5. The locks also meets the MLA vulnerability test for cylinders and come with a 10 Year Lock Cylinder guarantee from the manufacturer. A feature of this lock also is Key Retention. The Key cannot be removed when the cabinet door is open. This features on all of our Controlled drugs cabinets and is a requirements of the Misuse of Drugs (safe custody) regulation 1975. The CDC105 Controlled drugs cabinet  has a capacity of 130 litres and  weighs  30Kg ( both approximate).

The CDC105 Controlled drugs cabinet conforms to BS2881: 1989 (Security Level One)  the specification for Cupboards for  Storage of Medicines in Health Care Premises. It also meets and  surpasses the requirements of the “Misuse of Drugs (Safe Custody) Regulations 1975”. This is the requirement in the United Kingdom  for the storage of controlled drugs.

This cabinet is manufactured from 2mm steel which is thicker than that used by some of our competitors and it comes in a wipe clean polyester powder coated finish. It comes complete with fixings and instructions to enable the cabinet to be fitted to the wall. We suggest this is carried out by a competent person although it is a very straight forward process and full fitting instructions are included with the cabinet.

We produce all our controlled drugs cabinets in our own factory here in the Midlands and carry large stocks for next working day despatch.
